Ian from Caledonian was a total Rock Star! My bath tub was leaking and he came in diagnosed the problem right away. He had all the parts and was able to fix it in no time. Ian was so pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. He answered all my plumbing questions-- even about my dishwasher hook-up! If you're looking for fast, reliable and affordable service definitely give Caledonian a call-- Ask for Ian he's absolutely fabulous. I am very impressed.

It was time to update the toilets in our home and we went with Caledonian Plumbing as we've used them in the past for furnace related service. Ian and Tristan arrived right on schedule and worked very efficiently and quickly! Everything was installed very well and they cleaned up everything afterwards. It was as if they weren't even here. They took time to answer all out toilet related questions! Highly recommend Caledonian!

Contacted Caledonian about a sewage smell in our house, but also had my furnace break the day they came to do the work, which they also happily helped us with. My partner and I are new home owners, and the Caledonian team made it so much less stressful to deal with by being friendly, calm, and super clear about everything they were doing, seeing, and why it was all happening. Ian and Dave were the two who did the work for both problems: broken furnace, and fixing our old cast iron sewage stack. They were both so lovely and explained everything that was happening every step of the way. As much as we’d love to see them again - hopefully we won’t have to. 😉 10/10 would recommend!

This is a fantastic family run, local small business, with great customer service and fair pricing! Over the years we have had many plumbers and companies service our home and most of our experiences have been positive. I think the minimum expectation that most of us would like in plumbing company is that they are fair, professional, respectful and efficient. My experience Caledonian Plumbing and Heating not only exceeded these basic standards, they have set new standards for what I will look at in the future. Customer Service My family needed a new 50g, atmospheric Hot Water Tank. I contacted plumbing companies I have used in the past and several new ones, including Caledonia looking for quotes. My tank had died and we were without hot water and it was mid week. I know plumbers are always busy. The timeline I got from every company I called was 4-5 days. They seemed pretty indifferent that we would be without hot water for 4-5 days. I understood that it was mid week and plumbers are busy. Then I called Caledonia. First off, not an AI reception, it was a real person. I do believe her name was Mellisa and she was nothing short of exceptional. There were no pressure tactics. I was informed of the make and model of the tank beforehand so I could research it. She acknowledged that being without hot water would be an inconvenience and that Caledonian would priortiezed our install for the next day! Not only that but when I had a conflict for the install time she was able to reschedule the install for earlier in the day. She was timely in sending me invoices and was able to answer all my questions. She was great! Grant the owner and another worker showed up the following morning for the install. The install was straightforward and the crew did a great job. I like to judge companies on how they treat their employees. Grant was kind and respectful to his employee and was never demeaning or disrespectful. I spoke with Grant quite a bit about his company and his philosophy on his business after he completed the install. I really got the impression that he created his business not only to provide a high quality service to his community but also providing positive and supportive working environment for his employees. Pricing The quote we got from Caledonian was inline with other companies we received quotes from. They weren't the most expensive but they were not the cheapest either. To be fair, I have no idea what hot water tank others were using. Final Thoughts Customer Service and staff were exceptional. They are a small family run business that treats their staff well. And the pricing is in line with most companies. I highly recommend Caledonian Plumbing and Heating!

It seemed genuine, and I like to think I'm not completely naïve when it comes to astroturfing and digital marketing, so I thought they'd be worth at least getting in touch with while I do the boring, responsible adult thing and requesting quotes from multiple companies. I sent Caledonian Plumbing and Heating an email this morning. I had a response within 30 minutes, a quote within 40, and a new water heater installed by late afternoon. Every interaction I had was with someone friendly, competent, and professional—from Office Manager to Technician to Owner. When I mentioned to Grant, the owner, that the reason I went with Caledonian was the old reddit post from 2021, he immediately recalled the name of the former employee who posted it, and seemed sincerely delighted to share that he's no longer working with Caledonian because he's pursuing a PhD in physics. It was a very wholesome and human moment that, along with every other part of the experience, convinced me I made the right choice by giving Caledonian a chance.
