Canadian Leak Detection of Southern Ontario

I had Canadian Leak Detection check my pool 5 years ago before I had to get my liner replaced. I found them to be very thorough and professional so when I found that my pool was leaking again I didn't hesitate to enlist their services again. As expected everyone I communicated with was courteous and helpful. Prices have definitely increased in the last 5 years but where has that NOT happened. Adding water every day is expensive too. As before they found the exact problem area and sealed it temporarily to get through the summer. They provided an estimate for repairs. Considering that it will require the breaking of concrete, repairing a return jet and replacing concrete, the estimate is reasonable. Now that the pool season is coming to an end I will schedule the repairs. I would recommend Canadian Leak Detection to anyone with a leak in their pool.

My regular pool maintenance company in Kitchener-Waterloo recommended Canadian Leak Detection out of Beamsville, and they were able to come out in a couple of days. My in ground 16’ x 32’ swimming pool was losing about an inch of water a day. Nathan who has been in the business 30 years and Adam 4 years found the leak immediately - under the concrete deck near the return jet in the shallow end - using some sophisticated tools to pressure test the lines. They also used a long wand with an electrical current running through it to the scan the entire pool liner for leaks. If the current shorted out they knew there was a leak in the liner. All was good there. The repair involved jack hammering out a square foot section of concrete pool deck, repairing the return jet line and replacing the pea gravel and concrete. I had this done by my regular pool company, although Leak Detection would also have done it a couple of days later. Canadian Leak Detection covers a large area - Collingwood, Windsor, Oakville, Niagara - so I’m sure there is some travel time built into their price, but I would it not hesitate to call them again. They know what they’re doing!

They did what they promised, kept appointments on time, did everything they said they would do and explained everything clearly to a curious customer. Initially Ashley sends a questionnaire that I found really helps to communicate your problem - which I liked. She was very pleasant and professional. Shane came to the house. He was on time and professional. He was very patient with my concerns and was able to locate exactly where the disruption was. He showed great expertise and knowledge.
