ATA Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

The work was done well and quickly on the same day. I was ready to give 5 stars until I saw he overcharged us. I believe he was taking advantage of a situation where the bill was being sent to a landlord that was not present in this situation. He had added an extra half hour labour charge to the bill, plus charged more for the auger use than what he stated over the phone ($65 instead of $30). Unfortunately the bill was paid before we caught on and he refuses to refund. Tom became defensive and unprofessional immediately upon confrontation. He gave us numerous reasons for the extra half hour charge including because he "went over and beyond", because there was an apprentice, and because the clog was so large. So be aware of these seemingly random charges. If there are two service people, you will be charged extra time, apparently. When I requested a refund, he threatened to tell my strata about the clog he found. This man will blackmail you to avoid giving you a refund. Terribly unprofessional and dishonest.

Tom is an amazing resource. We recently had him attend after a few initial SMS messages back for. On both text and in person you can tell Tom’s depth of knowledge, but also transparency and fairness with billing. Will definitely use him anytime we need anything to do with plumbing and drainage!

Excellent work from Tom. He's placed a tub, a few sinks for us and helped keep our drains flowing well. Quick communication and speedy service. Great guy to work with and highly recommended.

Excellent communication with Tomas and Anna to make arrangements. On the day of the toilet replacement for my elderly father-in-law, Tomas and his assistant were prompt, respectful, and friendly, while extracting an old toilet from cramped conditions. After replacement, the new toilet looked like it was always there, and they took away all the debris 🙂 I would not hesitate to call ATA if I ever need plumbing work done.

Tom was a great help with my kitchen sink clog and garburator removal. Very friendly guy, great work, and looking out for customers. Thank you Tom!
