We have had great customer service with the Comfort Group for greater than 10 years. All the Service gals/guys have been very friendly and welcome our questions. They’ve been personable and efficient with our maintenance or our installation appointments. Doug M was great during this past maintenance visit. Back in the winter, we had a furnace issue that once they were able to attend was dealt with completely. Will continue with the Comfort Group group into the foreseeable future. We have installed a/c, heat pump and converted to gas furnace through the Comfort Group.

Riley provided exceptional service on my heat pump from start to finish. He was kind, informative, professional, and genuinely willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was handled properly. After previously identifying the issue, I was so happy to hear he’d be the one returning to complete the repair — and he exceeded expectations once again. Not only did he complete the job with patience and finesse, he handled my loud, overly enthusiastic dogs like an absolute pro, which deserves a medal on its own! Riley's outstanding work helped ease some of the frustration caused by the length of time it took to get the unit fixed and the lack of communication throughout the process. A great go to no nonsense technician. He did assure me that all answers to my questions were free. Quick humour as he was leaving. Always fantastic. Hope to see him next year.

Their own technician confirmed our $30,000 heat pump has never turned on once in two years. In August 2024, Comfort Group replaced our entire HVAC system through an insurance claim - removing the previous builder's faulty setup (we'd discovered we had an AC unit where we thought we had a heat pump) and installing a new heat pump and furnace. We supplied our own Google Nest thermostat, which they installed. The install was rough from the start. They damaged our ceiling putting in the extra vents, and about a month later an entire duct fell out of the ceiling where it connected to the furnace - we had to call them back to fix it. The bigger problem took longer to surface. The system produced heat, so we assumed it was working. But our heating bills never dropped - they stayed identical to the winter before, when we'd been running on emergency furnace heat. We even had BC Hydro come out to check our meters; they thought one might be faulty and replaced it, but it changed nothing. This year we bought a maintenance package with them. On the very first service visit, their own technician confirmed with 100% certainty that the heat pump has NEVER turned on since installation. For nearly TWO YEARS the system had been running entirely on emergency furnace heat. The most expensive component we paid for never ran - and it took until the first time anyone actually checked to find out. A heat pump's operation should be verified when the system is commissioned, not discovered by accident two years later. This cost us over $3,600 in excess heating bills. When I raised it, the manager's position was that too much time had passed and they would do nothing to make it right. We were left to sort out the cost and the fix ourselves. They had one job: install a working heat pump. It never worked, their own tech confirmed it, and they refused to make it right. Save yourself the $3,600 we lost - insist on proof the heat pump runs before you sign off, because they clearly won't check it themselves.
